The Infusion Center at Rheumatology Consultants of Western New York offers patients a safe, convenient alternative to receiving infusions in the hospital. You do not need to be a patient of RCWNY to receive an infusion or osteoporosis treatment at our office. Simply have your provider fill out the “Referring Provider” form for the medication they have prescribed for you and fax it to our office. Once received, our staff will begin the process of getting prior authorization from your insurance company and contact you to schedule your appointment.
Infusion Therapy

Many effective new drugs for the treatment of rheumatic diseases are administered through infusion therapy. Often, infusion therapy is the best or only way for a patient to receive a sufficient dose of medication. Infusions can also eliminate the need for frequent dosing, either orally or by injection. Some infusions are scheduled as infrequently as once per year.
